Mission

The Department of Veterans' Services insures that Allegheny County Veterans and/or widows and dependents receive those entitlements and benefits authorized by Federal, State and Local regulations.

The Department of Veterans' Services is fully committed to promoting and increasing outreach and collaboration among the many generations of veterans from World War II to current date. We intend to recall memory from depression years of the 20's and 30's among our older veterans and bring them forward to link and educate younger veterans and the general public to the full cultural impact of this history on our nation and individual lives.
