Venture Outdoors
Venture Outdoors, a non-profit organization formed in the summer of 2001, was created with the simple mission of getting more people outside to have fun and appreciate nature. Their activities are open to everyone - especially beginners - and include hiking, biking, canoeing, kayaking and everything in-between. Venture Outdoors is a member-based organization and membership is important to the success of the organization.
Venture Outdoors schedules activities in many of the Allegheny County Parks. Check individual Park calendars for Venture Outdoors activities by choosing a Park's homepage from the links in the left menu.
