Sixth Street/Clemente Bridge Inspection Continues Wednesday, July 3

PITTSBURGH – The Allegheny County Department of Public Works today advised motorists that bridge inspection activities will continue on the Sixth Street/Roberto Clemente Bridge in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, on Wednesday, July 3, 2013.  The Sixth Street Bridge will be closed to motorists and pedestrians from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on that date, weather permitting, in order for crews to finish the bridge inspection. 

Motorists should use caution and be prepared for changing traffic patterns. Traffic will be detoured onto the Seventh Street/Andy Warhol Bridge, and lane restrictions on the Tenth Street Bypass will also be required. 

Bridge inspection activities on the Ninth Street/Rachel Carson Bridge are expected to conclude today at 3:00 p.m.
