Lane Restrictions to Begin June 19 on South 10th Street Bridge

PITTSBURGH – The Allegheny County Department of Public Works today announced that traffic restrictions on the South 10th Street Bridge (Phillip Murray Bridge) will begin on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 as Allegheny County’s contractor, Advantage Steel, begins work on the $4 million rehabilitation project.

Vehicular traffic will be restricted to one lane in each direction throughout the remainder of the project which is scheduled to be completed in December 2014. The project also includes the closure of one sidewalk at all times for their replacement, along with the replacement of bridge lighting and upgrades to the anchorage vaults.
