PITTSBURGH – The Advisory Council of the Allegheny County Department of Human Services, Area Agency on Aging (AAA) will hold a public hearing on Friday, June 14, 2013, at 10:00 a.m., at One Smithfield Street, Lower Level, Liberty Conference Room. The purpose of the public hearing is to solicit public comment on the 2013-2014 Area Plan and Budget Prospectus.
Persons wishing to give testimony may pre-register by calling 412-350-1323 for an assigned 5-minute time slot. Speakers may also register the day of the hearing and provide testimony as time permits.
The hearing is also an opportunity for older adults, caregivers and other interested individuals to ask questions and offer comments on aging services in general. All oral and written comments will be recorded in the official proceedings of the hearing and sent to the Pennsylvania Department of Aging in Harrisburg.
