PITTSBURGH – The Home Visiting Network (HVN), a cooperative effort of the Allegheny County Health Department, Healthy Start and home visiting agencies throughout Allegheny County, is offering a seminar entitled “Breastfeeding Support and the Home Visitor” on Thursday, June 6.
The seminar is 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Allegheny Intermediate Unit at the Waterfront, 475 E. Waterfront Drive, Homestead, and will provide home visitors with breastfeeding information to help their clients.
The deadline for registration is May 30, and the fee is $10 for HVN members and $25 for non-members.

Founded in 1994, the Home Visiting Network is a group of agencies providing home-based maternal and child health services and its mission is to assure an efficient health care and social support delivery system to families by optimizing resources among existing maternal and child health programs.
