Allegheny County Mibsters Continue to Dominate National Tournament

PITTSBURGH – The Allegheny County Parks Department today announced that Emily Cavacini is in sole possession of first place with a record of 32 wins and 6 losses in the girls division at the 89th National Marbles Tournament in Wildwood, N.J. Brook Narr has moved into second place in the girls division with 30 wins and 8 losses. Kelsey Baran finished the day in 10th place with a record of 20 wins and 18 losses and was eliminated from the tournament.

Jordan Narr continues to maintain his first place position in the boys division at the national tournament. His record is 41 wins and 5 losses. Nick Cavacini has moved into a tie for third in the boys division with a record of 32 wins and 14 losses. Ben Eddings is tied for sixth place in the boys division with 30 wins and 16 losses.

The five remaining Allegheny County mibsters will compete in the national semi-finals beginning at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow, June 21. The finals of 89th National Marbles Tournament will start immediately thereafter.
