Boyce Park Tubing Area and Beginner's Slope to Open Friday, Jan. 1

PITTSBURGH — The Allegheny County Parks Department today announced the Boyce Park tubing area and beginner’s ski slope will be open from 12:00 noon to 10:30 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 1, weather and conditions permitting.

The Boyce Park Ski Area offers rental equipment for skiers and snowboarders, in addition to private and group lessons. Detailed information on rates and hours of operation is available online at www.county.allegheny.pa.us/parks/fees/ski.aspx. The intermediate slopes will open at a later date.
