Onorato Announces Annual Holiday Raffle to Benefit Kane Foundation

PITTSBURGH — Allegheny County Executive Dan Onorato today announced the Fourth Annual Holiday Raffle to benefit the John J. Kane Foundation, which supports programs for residents at Allegheny County’s four Kane Regional Centers. One winner will receive thousands of dollars worth of prizes, including a high-definition television, autographed sports memorabilia, bread for a year, and gift certificates.

“The annual Kane Holiday Raffle is a great way to contribute to a worthwhile cause,” said Onorato. “The winner will enjoy some amazing prizes that represent the best of Allegheny County. Tickets are limited and will go fast. So get them while you can, and help to support programs and services for residents at the Kane Regional Centers.”

“I would like to thank local businesses and athletes for their kind donations,” said Kane Regional Center Director Dennis Biondo. “I encourage everyone to buy a raffle ticket to help us continue the special programs and activities we provide for Kane Center residents.”

Raffle tickets are $20 each or two for $30. The winner will be determined by the Pennsylvania Lottery’s Daily Number evening drawing on Dec. 21. In the event that the winning ticket is not sold or claimed, remaining tickets will be drawn for individual prizes. 

Only 1000 tickets are available, and they can be purchased beginning on Fri., Nov. 20, at the following locations:

  • County Executive’s Office, 101 County Courthouse, 436 Grant Street, Pittsburgh;
  • Special Events Office, 515-B County Office Building, 542 Forbes Avenue, Pittsburgh;
  • Kane Regional Center-Glen Hazel, 955 Rivermont Drive, Pittsburgh;
  • Kane Regional Center-McKeesport, 100 Ninth Street, McKeesport;
  • Kane Regional Center-Ross, 110 McIntyre Road, Ross Twp.; and
  • Kane Regional Center-Scott, 300 Kane Boulevard, Scott Twp.

Additionally, tickets will be sold every Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. in the lobby of the County Office Building at 542 Forbes Avenue in Downtown Pittsburgh.
