Under Public Law 98-435, senior and disabled voters who are assigned to the inaccessible polling places listed below must be given an alternative means of casting their ballots.

Eligibility to vote by alternative ballot is based on meeting the following three requirements:
- The individual must be registered to vote in Allegheny County.
- The individual must be 65 years of age or older, or have a temporary or permanent physical disability that prohibits the individual from entering a polling place with architectural barriers.
- The individual’s polling place appears on the list above.
Applications for alternative ballots are available in person at the Allegheny County Elections Division in Room 601 of the County Office Building located at 542 Forbes Avenue in Downtown Pittsburgh or by visiting www.votespa.com. Applications must be returned no later than 5:00 p.m. on Tues., Oct. 27.
After an application is received, the applicant will be sent an absentee ballot that must be voted and returned to the Elections Division no later than 8:00 p.m. on Tues., Nov. 3.
