Meet the men and women of Allegheny County’s 9-1-1 Communications Center. These 251 Public Safety Telecommunicators handled over 1,314,721 emergency
9-1-1 and non-emergency telephone calls in 2010 for Police, Fire and EMS agencies covering the 130 municipalities we serve.

The mission of the Allegheny County Department of Emergency Services Division of 9-1-1 Communications is to serve as a vital link between the residents, business, visitors and public safety agencies of Allegheny County.
