Special Election Question

Shall debt in a sum not to exceed One Million Four Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,400,000.00) for the purpose of financing renovations, including bringing into compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act ("ADA") regulations, and expansions to the Oakmont Carnegie Library, be authorized to be incurred as debt of the Borough of Oakmont approved by the electors, as provided for in the Pennsylvania Library Code?

Explanation of Ballot Question

If this question is approved by a majority of those voting, expansions and renovations as required by the Americans with Disabilities Act, will be permitted to the Oakmont Carnegie Library. The maximum amount of debt to be incurred will be One Million Four Hundred Thousand Dollars ($1,400,000.00).
