A Gift for the New School Year
CentiMark, an international commercial roofing and flooring company headquartered in Canonsburg, donated items to help youth involved with the Office of Children, Youth and Families (CYF) get their school year off to a great start.
ERO Encourages Young Artists
As a way to promote artistic exploration, the East Regional Office (ERO) recently held its second art contest for children involved with the Office of Children, Youth and Families (CYF).
Quality Service Review
For the past three years, the DHS Office of Data Analysis, Research and Evaluation (DARE) — in partnership with the state Office of Children, Youth and Families and the University of Pittsburgh, Child Welfare Resource Center — has facilitated a Quality Service Review (QSR) process on behalf of the DHS Office of Children, Youth and Families (CYF).
KUDOS: Lucille Underwood
Lucille Underwood, mental health specialist in the Office of Behavioral Health (OBH), was chosen by the American Red Cross Southwestern Pennsylvania Chapter as the winner of the 2012 Red Cross Humanitarian Leadership Award.
KUDOS – Greg Phillips
The South Regional Office (SRO) of the DHS Office of Children, Youth and Families (CYF) recently received a letter from a foster mother praising Greg Phillips, caseworker.
KUDOS: ECCO Recognition Program
The Office of Behavioral Health (OBH) received a silver award in the category of Professional Outreach from the ECCO (Excellence in Community Communications and Outreach) Recognition Program.
