Outpatient Treatment

Outpatient Community Treatment Services are offered to those individuals who want mental health treatment services, but who are not in need of an in-patient level of care.

These services may include

  • Assessment
  • Specialized professional medical consultation
  • Physical examination
  • Psychiatric evaluation
  • Lab tests such as HIV and TB testing
  • Treatment planning
  • Therapy (individual, group and family)
  • Aftercare planning and follow-up

Some programs are specifically designed for certain populations, such as women or youths. People who temporarily need a higher intensity of services may benefit from Intensive Outpatient services from 5 to 10 hours a week.
