Each system is focused upon a limited area and has eligibility requirements, rules and regulations that are often confusing.
Anyone who has a substance use disorder in Allegheny County is eligible for the appropriate level of case management help.
Case management services help make sure that all the supports available to individuals with substance use disorders are coordinated in the best interest of the consumer.
These supports can come from many systems including:
- Criminal justice
- Education
- Employment
- Medical Assistance
- Medicare
- Physical health
- Social Security
- Other government systems
Specialized case management is available for persons with substance use disorders who are involved in the criminal justice system.
