Older adults in Allegheny County have made and continue to make great contributions to our community. DHS makes available, to persons 60 years of age and over, a wide variety of programs to help them transition through the changes that come with the passing years. From senior community centers, to in-home services, to finding alternatives to nursing home care, all of these services can be discussed by calling the DHS AAA SeniorLine at 412-350-5460 or sending an email to: SeniorLine@dhs.county.allegheny.pa.us.
This section provides detailed information about these topics and more.

Better Choices, Better Health is a free, two-and-a-half hour set of workshops for adults 60 years of age and older, that meet once a week for six weeks, in a community setting.
