Coming Soon: A New Way to Request Assistance with Remedyforce
The Department of Human Services, in partnership with the Division of Computer Services (DCS), will soon be implementing a new Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application called Remedyforce that will change the way DHS staff, service providers and county departments interact with the DHS Helpdesk.
SafeMeasures Sheds New Light on CYF Data
This January the Office of Children, Youth and Families released its new reporting service, SafeMeasures, to all staff members as another step in improving staff effectiveness. Developed by the National Council on Crime and Delinquency (NCCD) Children’s Research Center, SafeMeasures is a near real-time, customized reporting service that allows caseworkers and supervisors to view raw data stored in KIDS as easy to understand reports, charts and graphs.
Teaming Continues to Move Forward
In July of last year, DHS News reported on the beginning efforts to implement Family Team Conferencing (FTC) as a common case management practice within DHS. Since then, many steps have been taken to introduce FTC to DHS staff and providers.
Mental Health First Aid
Staff members in the Office of Behavioral Health will soon be offering Mental Health First Aid training to DHS staff to help those outside of the mental health field identify, understand and respond to those who have a mental illness or substance use disorder.
Bureau of Contracts and Compliance
In order to keep services and payments running smoothly, staff members of the Bureau of Contracts and Compliance assess potential service providers and vendors and ensure that current providers are in compliance with their agreements.
