AIDS Waiver

The AIDS Waiver provides home and community based services to eligible persons age twenty-one or older who have symptomatic HIV Disease or AIDS.
Target Population
Individuals who have Symptomatic HIV Disease or AIDS
Eligibility Criteria
- Individuals age twenty-one or older who have symptomatic HIV disease or AIDS.
- Income limit must be equal or less than 300% of the Federal Benefit Rate.
- Individuals must have a level of care for Acute, Skilled Nursing or Intermediate Care Facility.
- Total countable resources for persons over the age of 21 must be $8,000 ($2,000 Medicaid limit that includes a $6,000 resource disregard) or less. Resources include, but are not limited to, cash on hand, bank accounts, stocks, bonds, mutual funds, life insurance and vehicles.

Cost Sharing
There is no cost to the consumer for waiver services.
