DHS Advisory Bodies

Advisory bodies are important to DHS.  Many advisory bodies attached to particular offices are required by state mandate to oversee the provision of services and/or to assist in policy planning. Other advisory bodies have been created and convened by DHS to assist the Department to identify community needs and preferences, and inform planning processes and initiatives

The following provides information about each of the advisory bodies including its purpose, current members, membership terms, officers, committees and how conflicts of interest are handled.  Also included are requirements and regulations for those statutory mandated.
