Helping Children Looking for Permanent Homes

Mentoring: A mentor is a caring adult friend who devotes time to a young person.  Although mentors can fill any number of different roles, all mentors have the same goal in common to help young people achieve their potential and discover their strengths.

Kinship Care: This is a natural, out-of-home placement option with relatives or established friends.  This placement successfully meets a child’s need for safety, permanency and well-being.

Foster Care: Foster Care is caring for a child until his or her parent(s) can resume full responsibility, or until a permanent home is found.  It is a commitment to helping a child through a difficult period.

Adoption: Adoption is the life-time commitment to nurture and care for a child in a loving home.  Adoptive parents can provide the love, security, and permanency that every child needs.
