How does a building achieve higher performance? It does so with improvements in indoor air quality, lighting and many others through the installation of energy and cost-efficient technologies. Allegheny County owns and maintains nearly 2 million square feet of property, and leases a considerable amount of space, some of which we also directly manage. Our long-term objective is to actively and systematically address needed improvements and practices to make these buildings as efficient as possible.
Take a look at the buildings below and discover the improvements that are being made to transition toward achieving the status of high performance.
