Mission Statement

The Department of Administrative Services strives to uphold and support all levels of services to the taxpayers of Allegheny County. Although the department encompases a vast range of services, the common mission is to enhance Allegheny County operations.

Responsibilities

The Department of Administrative Services manages an array of services to enhance daily County operations in terms of computer support; mailing, printing and photography services; purchasing and document storage. Administrative Services is also responsible for telecommunications and property assessments.  In addition, the department oversees the election process to ensure that all government laws and requirements are upheld, provides services and support to military veterans throughout the County.
