Kudos: Terri Laver
and Robert Eamigh
Terri Laver, grants writer and consultant for the Office of
Community Service’s (OCS) Bureau of Homeless Services, and Robert Eamigh, DHS Housing
and Urban Development (HUD) Program Administrator, received praise for their
presentation at an annual HUD training webinar.
Rob and Terri did a PowerPoint presentation that included
explaining how HUD Veterans Affairs Support Housing (VASH) vouchers can be used
to help homeless veterans. It also covered means of linking veterans with other
housing services resources.
The presentation was conducted for personnel from Continuums
of Care, the VA, and public housing agencies.

Planning and Development Representative at HUD’s Pittsburgh Office, lauded
Terri and Rob in an email to DHS Director Marc Cherna, OCS Deputy Director
Reginald Young and HUD Field Office Director John Tolbert. “Your
expertise about the nature of homeless and the Continuum programs that serve
the homeless is unsurpassed. Your collaborative with the Veterans
Administration and the Veterans Leadership Program is envied by many, equaled
by no one! Your Continuum has grown to be one of the finest that I know
of – because of you,” Rose wrote.
