Kudos: Robin Orlando
Robin Orlando, Systems Integration Specialist in the DHS Executive Office, earned praised for her work in finalizing language to be used in assessment process documents that are key to the department’s continuing integration of services. Robin received letters of appreciation from Fran Gutterman, Senior Director at Casey Family Programs and Dr. Mary E. Rauktis of the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Social Work, Child Welfare Education and Research programs.
Both are part of the group lead by Robin that is charged by the state with reviewing and tailoring assessment tools (including CANS) as part of the Child Welfare Waiver Demonstration Project.
“I wanted to add my sincere thanks and appreciation for your amazing work on this and for your dedication and commitment to getting us to a final product,” Fran Gutterman wrote.
“Assessment is critical to effective implementation,” Dr. Rauktis wrote. “I think that we should have something named in your honor, like the ‘Orlando prize for persistence and grace under pressure.’ ”
