KUDOS: Natalie Jones and Jerry Harvey
On October 4, two Office of Children, Youth and Families (CYF) staff members were honored at the Center for Family Excellence’s annual recognition dinner.
Natalie Jones, regional director of the Central Regional Office (CRO), received the Community Service Award for her work with Inua Ubuntu and Family Group Decision Making. “[Ms. Jones] gives freely of her time far beyond traditional working hours to ensure that children and families are served and children are kept safe,” said Dr. Lenall Thomas, Director of Services at the Center for Family Excellence.
Jerry Harvey, CRO caseworker, was honored with the Cultural Legacy Award for the time and resources he has given to the DADS program, Inua Ubuntu and Family Group Decision Making. “Whether it is at the monthly DADS meeting, [or] at the Annual Families United Celebration, …the Center for Family Excellence recognizes the commitment that Mr. Harvey has to providing high-quality services to children and families,” said Dr. Lenall.
Dr. Lenall concluded, “We are pleased to recognize Ms. Jones and Mr. Harvey for their love and commitment to the well-being of children and families of Allegheny County.”
