DHS SummerFood program to run through Aug.19
DHS will operate SummerFood, a free breakfast, lunch and recreation program for children and youth 18 years of age and younger in economically disadvantaged communities through August 19, 2011.
Nutritious meals for children will be available on weekdays at more than 100 sites throughout Allegheny County. A site supervisor and accompanying staff will be present to ensure the well-being of the children.

SummerFood, which serves children and youth without regard to gender, race, color, national origin or disability, is made possible through a grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Education, Division of Food and Nutrition.
Any complaint of discrimination should be submitted in writing within 180 days of the incident to the Secretary of Agriculture, U.S.D.A., Washington D.C. 20250.
